Dots (Defence of the Shrines) is a MOBA game like "League of Legends" or "DotA".
More precisely - something in the middle and on the left, mechanically.

The game is made in Warcraft 3 and it is a custom map.
Main feature of the map is the presence of Touhou girls and sophisticated gameplay elements.

What is interesting to play a fanmade map from an ancient game?

• Characters from Touhou with thematic abilities, often not very balanced, but very spectacular.
• Dots is a map with more than a decade of history. On the one hand, this generated a lot of bugs, but on the other hand, there are not many W3 maps with so many nuances and features.
• If you are interested in Warcraft maps and do not deny anime themes, you will probably like DotS.
• This is a MOBA game (more famous analogues: LoL, DotA, HoN, HotS)

Here is a vid with gameplay, it is from distant 2013. Now much has changed and the map has been translated into English, but you can get a general idea.

Everything is very simple, we have an archived pack with Warcraft3 created specifically for playing DotS (1GB):

1. You open the rar file and throw the folder with the game "Warcraft3_DODS_v2020", where you want to store the game


2. Open Frozen Throne.exe

Warcraft menu opens. There you choose "One player"/"Один игрок"

You are invited to create a new player. Write your nick and press "Create"/"Создать"



3. We must find the map itself, for this we click "Battles"/"Сражения"

inside, map - select it.
1-5 slots - Hakurei players
6 and 12 slots are not for players (for observers)
7-11 slots - Moria players

We set the bots so that it is against whom and with whom, click "Start the game"/"Начать игру".


4. At the start, it offers different modes, click on the top options and a character selection window pops up in front of us:

Choose your touhou girl and play.

• Usually we play several days in a row/ in time around 7-12 Moscow time on average (from 4pm to 8pm GMT).
• The number of players on the host can be viewed at the link: thdots.ru/index.php . On the left are available hosts and the number of people on them.
• Accessing the game host is simple: Open Frozen Throne.exe ---> "Local Area Network"/"Локальная сеть" ---> TOHO DOTA or TOHO DOTA N2.
